As in the previous collection, award-winning guitarist Adam Levin performs on this second collection, which features works from Spain's remarkable revival after the end of the Franco dictatorship that lasted from 1936 to 1975. In this series, we hear Spanish guitar works from the 21st century that have survived such a difficult time. All of them are superb, and the opening track, "Homage to Granados" by Barada, is a true glimpse into the glorious history of Spanish guitar music. Most of the album is a world premiere recording; recorded in Canada in 2014. (C)RS
