This cult classic, which has a devoted following across all genres from disco to dance music, progressive rock, mondo strange music, and even rare groove, is finally being reissued on official CD. Better known as Black Devil Disco Club, this six-song album was released in 1978 on the French RCA label. Officially, Black Devil is the unit name and Disco Club is the title. Although it is called a unit name, it was actually a one-man project created by Bernard Fevre (who was then working on library music in France under the alias "Junior Claristidge" in the credits). Although it is a collaboration with Jacky Giordano (Joachim Sherylee), who is also a genius in the French library world, Bernard was responsible for all the musical production.The sound of the album is a techno-disco sound with a full of spicy atmosphere, just as the name "Cosmic Disco" suggests. It would be easier to understand if we call it dark and heavy Kraftwerk. However, it is usually compared to Giorgio Moroder's music. All six tracks are highly recommended.
