CASIOPEA celebrates its 45th anniversary and welcomes back regular member Yoshiyori Imai on drums for the first time in 25 years, starting CASIOPEA-P4! The commemorative KICK-OFF LIVE is recorded in its entirety! Since their debut in 1979, CASIOPEA has continued to lead the fusion scene as one of Japan's leading super bands, literally embodying their catchphrase from their debut: "Thrill, Speed, Super Technique". The band's sound, which literally embodies their catchphrase at the time of their debut, "thrill, speed, and super technique," is the result of Issei Noro's exceptional compositional ability, which allows for an easy balance between familiar melodies and superb technical playing. The band went through a six-year hiatus, but in 2012, the 35th anniversary of the band's formation, the name was changed to CASIOPEA 3rd, and the band restarted in the 3rd period. The band has continued to maintain its reputation as a band despite member changes.This year, 10 years after the start of the third phase of the band, the baton was passed from Akira Jimbo (special support) to Yoshiyori Imai, the band's first official member in 25 years, on drums.
