This is her first studio recording in about a year, and is based on the Russian works she performed in four solo recitals at the Symphony Hall in Osaka during the 2005/06 season (theme: "Chopin and Russian Composers"). It is an anthology album full of nostalgic and poetic sentiments, befitting of its title ("memoire"), which means "reminiscence" or "memory". From Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, and Scriabin to the unknown masterpieces of Lyadov and Cui, this album invites the listener into a world of detailed and dense lyricism. The booklet includes liner notes written by the performers themselves. A beautiful album full of literary and poetic fantasy is born. STEREO/24-Bit Digital Recording.
