A four-piece group from Indiana, U.S.A., known for their number one hit "Hang on Through Pea" in 1965, which was Rick Dillinger's record debut in the U.S. (original release: 1969 / Mercury). (Original release: 1969 / Mercury) This is their fourth and last album, which dispelled their conventional image as a bubblegum pop band focusing on covers, and opened up a new side with a bold approach to psychedelic rock, mainly original compositions. The last blues-rock jam that leads to Dillinger's later career (Johnny Winter and Edgar Winter's White Trash) is also a highlight of the album.
