He is currently performing as a soloist and also as a piano trio, the "Stimon Trio". In this album, they perform the masterpieces "The Grand Duke" and "The Ghost". Giovaninetti's charm is his lustrous tone. Levinas and Chrétien also play to his warm tone. This is a new masterpiece recording by a master ensemble player. No. 5 "Ghost" gets its name from the daring technique of the second movement and the mysterious flavor it evokes from its atmosphere. The first and third movements are both supported by the central movement from both sides.The greatest appeal of No. 7, "Grand Duke," is its concerto-like color, in which the three instruments, violin, cello, and piano, are used most effectively.
