Sensational Korean pianist puts her heart and soul into her new album of Handel's musicNew album by internationally acclaimed Korean pianist Cho Sung Jin, winner of the 2015 International Chopin Piano Competition. Seong-Jin Cho has also devoted her love to an often forgotten keyboard repertoire, Handel's Suites for keyboard. Each suite is wonderfully unique and full of life, but he has chosen three of his great favorites and performs them in their entirety. Then, another Handel keyboard suite aficionado, Brahms, combines his "Variations on a Theme by Handel," Op. 24. I wanted to give them all a voice, so I used a lot of different techniques. I tried to keep different timbres in all of them. And I imagined it as an ensemble concerto. For example, I wanted the left hand voice to sound like a bassoon and the right hand voice to sound like a violin.
