A Return to Rock 'n' Roll Roots—"The Greatest Rock 'n' Roll Band on Earth," THE BLACK KEYS, the one-of-a-kind rock duo consisting of Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, release their latest album, *PEACHES!*. This is the 14th album from the Akron, Ohio-based band, which boasts 13 studio albums and six Grammy Awards and has long explored deep blues and soul. According to Dan Auerbach, this is their “most natural album” since their 2002 debut, *THEBIGCOMEUP*, featuring 10 tracks of instinctive, raw rock ’n’ roll. True to their DIY spirit, this is a live recording made with no rehearsals, just one or two takes, and minimal overdubs, with all members playing in the same room. Following their 2024 album *OHIOPLAYERS*, which featured collaborations with Beck, Noel Gallagher, and Dan the Automator, and the 2025 album *NORAIN,NOFLOWERS*, which featured Rick Knowles and others—this album brings Dan and Patrick back to the spirit of their old basement in their hometown of Akron. Mixed by Patrick at his own studio and mastered at EASYEYESOUND, this is a work they’re proud of.
