Description:
Master Buchbinder’s Classic Recording The Vienna Philharmonic, with Buchbinder conducting: The Complete Mozart Piano Concertos Now available in a new design and at an affordable price Buchbinder’s Complete Mozart Piano Concertos, which have garnered widespread acclaim for their exceptional, cohesive performances steeped in the Viennese style, are now available with a completely redesigned cover—the first in 10 years—while retaining the same track listings as before, and at a significantly more affordable price. Recorded live with the Vienna Philharmonic—a prestigious Viennese orchestra—under the baton of Rudolf Buchbinder, who has earned worldwide acclaim as a pianist who studied in Vienna from a young age and faithfully carries on the Viennese tradition, this Complete Mozart Piano Concertos collection was was originally released in 1998 by the German label CALIGCLASSICS; following the cessation of CALIGCLASSICS’ operations, the Profil label has since been releasing it under license (former catalog number PH04011). The appeal of this set lies in Buchbinder’s witty pianism—on full display in his specialty, Mozart—and in every nuance of the orchestra, which is thoroughly versed in the Viennese style; it promises a fresh and moving experience every time you listen. Please note that the accompanying booklet contains only the track list and brief biographies of Buchbinder and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. King International
