The Complete Flute Concertos of Dovienne, a long-awaited set of four Dovienne flute concertos recorded by master flutist András Adrián for TUDOR, including 12 numbered concertos, two posthumous works, and a concerto symphony. François Dovienne (1759-1803) was a Parisian flutist and composer of the same generation as Mozart who became very popular in Paris during the Revolution. His Flute Concerto is a gorgeous example of the Paris of this era. András Adrian (Hungarian pronunciation: Adlyán) was born in Budapest, Hungary, and has been based in Munich since 1974. He has served as principal flutist in various orchestras and was professor at the Munich University of Music and Drama from 1996 to 2013. Hans Stadlmayr is an Austrian conductor born in 1929.He was the principal conductor of the Munich Chamber Orchestra for a long period of time from 1950 to 1995. Tobu Land Systems
