Description:

Olivier Stankiewicz, Principal Ob of the LSO, winner of the 2012 International Oboe Competition in Karuizawa! Olivier Stankiewicz, Principal Oboist of the London Symphony Orchestra! Mozart's brilliant Violin Sonata with the graceful sound of the oboe. Delphian, the first full-fledged classical label based in Edinburgh, is pleased to announce the release of the new album by YCAT (Young Classical Artists Trust), a British artist management company that has discovered such great talents as Sean Sibe, Peter Moore, the Doric String Quartet, and Timothy Ridout. Classical Artists Trust (YCAT), which has discovered such great talents as Moore, Doric String Quartet, and Timothy Ridout. The collaboration series between Delphian and YCAT is scheduled to include nine albums over the next three years. The third volume features Olivier Stankiewicz, a genius oboist of the new generation who is the principal oboist of the London Symphony Orchestra. He won the first prize (Ohga Prize) at the "10th International Oboe Competition Karuizawa" in 2012.In 2015, she also won the Young Concert Artists International Auditions in Leipzig and New York, and since 2015 she has been selected as principal player of the London Symphony Orchestra, joining the faculty of the Royal College of Music in the same year. The program is a remarkable project that features three of Mozart's beloved violin sonatas performed on the oboe. The two B-flat major sonatas and the E-minor sonata, which are particularly suited to the oboe in terms of playing technique, tonality, and range, will be performed with a natural nuance and rich inspiration, as if they were originally written for the oboe, giving the audience a graceful and delicate Mozart performance. which was also performed during his 2014 tour of Japan.
