Commemorating the 100th anniversary of Errol Garner's birth! Simultaneous CD and LP release of previously unreleased recordings from Erroll Garner's most glorious concert at Boston Symphony Hall in 1959! Nine previously unreleased tracks from the January 17, 1959 concert at Boston's Symphony Hall by jazz great Erroll Garner are included on this CD and LP. All of the tracks are previously unreleased. The trio of Eddie Calhoun, Kelly Martin, and Garner would continue to perform together until 1965, and it is no exaggeration to say that this is the best combination that allowed Garner's personality to shine through 100 percent. The trio gave a historic performance in front of a sold-out audience, a fine showcase of Garner's charm as a prodigious performer. Included is an essay by drummer/producer Terri Lynn Carrington, newly appointed senior advisor to the Erroll Garner Project. The album will be released on CD and LP with the same content.
