After the breakup of COLOSSEUM, this hidden British hard rock band was formed around Jon Hiseman (dr.). All their albums, the first in '73 and the second in '74, have been remastered with additional bonus tracks and are now available in 2CD format! The band broke up after releasing 'Living In Fear' and Jon Hiseman went on to a long and varied career with the reformed COLOSSEUM and THE UNITED JAZZ + ROCK ENSEMBLE.' The '73 album features Mark Clark (b/vo) formerly of COLOSSEUM, Paul Williams (vo) formerly of JUICY LUCY, and Allan Holdsworth (g/vln) formerly of NUCLEUS, and is a thrilling hard rock album with an emphasis on improvisation by the band's technically accomplished members. The album is a masterpiece of thrilling hard rock with an emphasis on improvisation by the technical members. In 1974, Paul Williams and Allan Holdsworth left the band, and Ollie Halsall (vo/g/key), formerly of PATTO, joined the band to make it a trio style Hard Rock band.Like the previous album, this is another masterpiece, with the same emphasis on improvisation, but with more catchy and hooky hard rock throughout the album. As a bonus track, the previously unreleased outtakes 'You And Your Love' and 'Dream Train', which were also included on the old Sanctuary/Castle double-disc compilation, have been added. Also includes new liner notes by Charles Waring. Mastered using newly remastered material by Andrew Thompson.
