A 5CD box of DERRINGER's BLUE SKY albums under COLUMBIA, led by the well-known RICK DERRINGER! At the age of 17, RICK DERRINGER led MCCOYS and had a hit with "HANG ON SLOOPY". Later, he met EDGAR WINTER and JOHNNY WINTER, and after a solo career that leaned toward pop, he ended up in a hard and rockin' activity under his own name DERRINGER. Three studio albums and one live album were released between 1976 and 1978, as well as "LIVE IN CLEVELAND," a rare promo-only live album that includes RICK's solo hit "ROCK AND ROLL, HOOCHIE KOO" and a cover of BOWIE's "REBEL REBEL". IN CLEVELAND", and the rare mono single version of "LET ME IN", "DON'T STOP LOVING ME", and the WARREN ZEVON song "LAWYERS, GUNS AND MONEY".Liner notes based on interviews with DERRINGER members KENNY AARONSON and VINNY APPICE included.
