Shiver Of Frontier
Description:
It is the mission of the Great Spirits.... The first chapter of the "Great Spirits Saga," a solemnly spun tale of heroism, is now available on a shocking mini-album with a new storyline, led by a new lineup featuring YOH (Ds)! The band was formed in the spring of 2010 by Akihiro (G), Kouta (B), and Takazumi (Key), who originally played together in different bands, with the aim of creating a catchy and authentic melodic power metal band with an emphasis on melody. Soon after, Minaki (Vo), Hayate (G), and Yamato (Ds) joined the band, and the six-piece formation began with a high-tone Vo and twin lead Gs. The word "Shiver" in the band name "Shiver of Frontier" means "shiver," but it also has the underlying meaning of "melody.Soon after that, Takazumi and Yamato left the band for personal reasons (no Key player, but Ds as a support member), but in 2012, the band started working on a new album, and around spring 2013, released their second demo "Hope of Eternity/Lost Tears" with a more symphonic arrangement of their songs. In the spring of 2013, they released their second demo, "Hope of Eternity/Lost Tears," with a more symphonic arrangement of the songs. The band then began recording their first album between 2014 and 2015, and signed with Black-listed Records in 2016. In 2017, the band began work on a mini-album that would serve as a precursor to their second album, while also developing a plan for a second album, In November of the same year, they released "Crystal in My Heart," a mini-album that inherited the direction of the previous album, but with even more variety as all members were involved in the composition process. In 2018, the band began recording a new album and released their second album "Can You See The World?" in August 2019, which has more depth as a melodic power metal band. In 2022, Ryo (G) and Nobuaki (Key) joined the band, and their third album "Faint Hope to the Reality" was released in May of the same year. In 2023, Tae-tae left the band, but was soon replaced by YOH (Ds), and the band started working on a new album. Records on May 24, 2024. This album is the beginning of a new storyline in which the protagonist, who has the power of a spirit, confronts a demon king in a fantasy world. In addition to songs (different versions) from the forthcoming 4th full-length album, the album includes new songs that are not included on the album as well as self covers of past works. The mixing and mastering was done by Yoichiro Ishino of Crunch Studio, as on the previous album.
