welcome to life After a successful Japan tour, San Francisco Bay Area one-man shoegaze act High Sunn is launching a new project, skyMEMORI -footprints in the grass-! High Sunn's monumental dream-pop album of 13 tracks, self-produced and newly written by High Sunn, will be released in analog format on Sad Disco. High Sunn is the "brightcore" project of Justin Cheromiah, who has been recording at home since he was 14 years old and has a passion for Japanese anime/subculture.Since his early days in 2014, he has released a series of albums on unique indie labels such as Bleeding Gold, Galaxy Train, and PNKSLM Recordings, and has released about 20 albums over the course of his 10-year discography. Following the release of his album "Welcome To Life" on P-VINE in May of this year, he has already completed his latest album, inspired by Supercell, Mikito P, Deco27, Pixelbee, Yanaginagi, ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, and more! The guitars that run under the clear blue sky of early summer, the vivid dance beats, and the slightly innocent vocals are impressive, and the album is filled with a pale and beautiful euphoria and nostalgia. It is an evergreen and friendly melodic/shoegaze album. It is a haunting image of Justin playing a novel game in his bedroom, of a distant summer day, filled with blueness and loneliness.This album is a "soundtrack for a daily walk" that poetically brings his memories to life. In his powerful writing, he expresses his thoughts that "even when the day looks murky, bleak, and gray, there is always light. The beauty of hope always pushing us to excellence in whatever we put our minds to," he says, "is the clear message on the surface of this record.With influences from Yua Uchiyama's RAY, which was featured in the previous album "Welcome to life", Denpagumi.inc, MORE MORE JUMP! and ANO, this work is intended to be a joyous celebration, with tributes to such mentors as Azusa Kan (April Blue), Toru Umeki (Galaxy Train), Kent Mizushima (to'morrow music), "do u see the sky," "ribbon affair," an "OP"-style song about Justin's memories of the cities he stayed in during his overseas tours, "chuorinkan," a song about the city where Justin stayed during his overseas tours, "chuorinkan," a song about the city where Justin stayed during his overseas tours, and "chuorinkan," a song about the city where Justin stayed during his overseas tours.
