TULIP's 50th anniversary! The eternal classic debut album "The Magical Yellow Shoes" is reissued in multiple formats, including LP, from the original Express label. In the half century since his brilliant debut in 1972 with "Magical Yellow Shoes," he has released a string of hits, including "Heart's Journey" (1973), "Silver Ring" and "Shadow of Youth" (1974), "Cactus Flower" (1975), and "Around the Rainbow and Sneakers" (1979). They breathed new life into the Japanese pop (and rock) music scene, which had been dominated by folk and song songs, and established themselves as pioneers of Japanese-language rock. Countless young people were captivated by this new music that fused British musical sensibilities and Japanese sentiment at a high level. Half a century later, colorful flowers are still blooming from the large footprints they left on the hearts of the tee-agers of the time. This year, on the 50th anniversary of Tulip's debut, the debut album "Magical Yellow Shoes" was remastered at Abbey Road Studios in London. Cutting was also done at Abbey Road and reissued on yellow-colored 180g heavy vinyl LP and high-quality sound SHM-CD.The TULIP TIMES and large poster that accompanied the original album are also reissued. Even the obi of the fantastic 1st pressing is also reissued. The debut single "Magical Yellow Shoes" and the EP "My Little Life" released in 1971, one year before their official debut, are also reissued. Also included is a live recording of Tulip's first live performance in Tokyo on March 3, 1972, upgraded as much as possible. This is the first time it has been released on the market. Also included is "Chiihoaki Mori Owl Song" from a live performance in Fukuoka in 1970, just before Tulip moved to Tokyo. All sound sources were remastered at Abbey Road Studio. A 40-page photo book including unpublished photos and a tulip pamphlet distributed only to related parties at the time of the band's debut are also reprinted.Has there ever been a super band that changed the history of Japan, Tulip, who were so obsessed with their shocking debut!
