This box contains all of Grieg's orchestral works, including the influences of Norwegian folk music, which Grieg pursued throughout his life, as well as the natural scenes and rich sentiments he loved so much, depicted through his masterful orchestral technique. All of the works are wonderfully performed, full of empathy. Among them, the music for "Peer Gynt," one of Grieg's masterpieces based on Ibsen's play, is included in the complete dramatic music version as well as the popular suite version. Listening to the Norwegian performers' vigorous performance in the original language, the true nature of this work will come to life before your eyes. Engeseto is one of Norway's leading conductors. He studied under Jorma Panula at the Sibelius Academy, and after graduating in 1989, he has been active as a conductor throughout the Scandinavian Peninsula.
