The long-awaited TV anime adaptation of the popular "Young Champion Retsu" comic depicting "high school girls," "fishing," and "slow life" is now available on DVD in its first volume. Directed by the director of "YuruYuri" series and "Umaru-chan! Umaru-chan" and many other hit daily life anime. As a fishing enthusiast himself, he has finally made his directorial debut for this work (just for this work!). He is also a fishing enthusiast himself, so he is finally directing his first film for this project (only!)! The series is composed by Takaharu Okuma, who has directed such hit series as "NEW GAME! series and "How Many Dumbbells Can You Hold?", and Katsuhiro Kumagai, who has worked as character designer and chief animation director for "Gavril Dropout" as well as animation director for numerous other works, assemble specialists in the field of daily life anime! In addition to the "NEW GAME!" series, the animation production team has also produced a number of hit daily life anime such as "Watashi ni Tenshi ga Mukerita" and "How Many Dumbbells Can You Hold? series, as well as "NEW GAME!" series, "Watashi ni Tenshi ga Mukeruita", "Dumbbell Kazuki Kilo Yorieugi?In addition to the cuteness of the girls, who are highly favored by anime fans, the careful depiction of fishing and the charming countryside scenery that will unintentionally heal you are animated in high quality! This is a remarkable work that is sure to attract everyone who has seen it to the joy of fishing! Kanon Takao is cast as the main character, Youisa Tsurugi, who is not very fond of living creatures but is drawn to the joys of fishing when she joins the "Teibo Club"! The cast also includes Natsumi Kawaida as Natsumi Hodaka, Yonagisa's childhood friend and energetic mood maker; Yuuki Shinohara as Yuki Kuroiwa, the head of the Teibo club and the one who dragged Yonagisa into the club; and Satomi Asaka as Makoto Ohno, a quiet girl who knows fishing, is an excellent cook and has a great figure but is actually a bit of a dilettante. The cast includes a group of voice actors who are sure to be breakout stars, as well as veteran voice actors with strong abilities. --Yonisa Tsurugi, who has moved from the city to the countryside, is an indoorsy type who is not fond of living things. He was supposed to join the handicraft club and enjoy his high school life, but when he meets Yuki Kuroiwa while out for a walk, he is forced to join the mysterious "Teibo Club" and starts fishing... Surrounded by unique club members, what will become of Yonagisa's high school life? Includes episodes 1-4.
