Think Zik! is an independent label run by Senegalese-French Malick N'Diar, and includes Imani and Farda Freddy. This is an acoustic cover project of love songs by its "all-stars". Singers featured include Tete, Imani, Ben Ronkle Soul, China Moses and Hugh Coltman. From the beginning, there are a series of good covers with killer but slightly unexpected arrangements, including Bishop Briggs (M(1)), Kylie Minogue (M(2)), The Weeknd (M(3)), Britney Spears (M(4)) and Jazmine Sullivan (M(5)). The second half includes Sting, Paul Weller, Gwen Stefani, and Culture Club.Terrence Trent Darby's "Sayin' About You" by Fada Freddy and Jet "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" by China Moses are also great! A variety of old and new favorites and classics with heartwarming songs and arrangements. A relaxing evening listening experience.
