Description:
The long-awaited reissue of Santo & Johnny's Invitation to the World of The Beatles! The world's first CD release of the 1964 album by Santo & Johnny, the steel guitar and rhythm guitar duo known for "Sleep Walk," a refreshing sibling in early summer. The world of The Beatles is fully enjoyed through the instrumental sound of the two. The majority of the songs, such as the mariachi-flavored M-7, are new Beatles songs, and their own compositions, such as M-5 and M-11, which were probably inspired by the Beatles, are also excellent. The bonus tracks include six gems from the classic "Wish You Love" released in the same year. Both tracks are arranged and conducted by Mort Garson, who has also worked with Ruby & The Romantics. The contrast between the lively main body of the album and the "dreamy arrangement" is wonderful. The Beatles' song, as expected, completes the grand finale. Commentary: Koichiro Tatei
