The second album "Dejavyu", 51 years after "Nosutarujia" (1973), which was called a fantastic masterpiece, has been miraculously released by the miraculous duo group "Oka-Steamiki", which shines brilliantly in the history of Japanese acid folk/psyche rock! The duo group "Oka Steamboat" released four singles and one album between 1972 and 1975. In 1974, they went on a nationwide tour with Carroll, and in 1976, the band went on hiatus. The album was produced by master musician Kunikouchi and featured artwork with somewhat psychedelic illustrations, and was a kind of drug-like work with incoherent but high musicality, such as progressive rock/acid/soft rock/folk/blues rock, etc. It has long been considered a hidden classic. The album has been silenced for a long time as a hidden masterpiece in the history of Japanese rock/folk music, but in recent years, it has been secretly talked about among some enthusiasts, and in 2011, the only album was finally released on CD for the first time, creating a big buzz.And now, for the first time in 51 years, the band has decided to release their second album, which is based on unreleased demo songs from that time and newly recorded with self-produced backing tracks! The album is a masterpiece of Japanese acid folk/psychedelic rock that transcended the passage of half a century and is like a time paradox, now revived in 2023.
