No. 132 is a cantata for the Fourth Sunday of Advent. It is a music filled with anticipation for the birth of Jesus, and while it usually begins with a choral chorale, this piece is unique in that it opens abruptly with a beautiful soprano aria. No. 35 is a cantata for the "Twelfth Sunday after the Trinity," a solo cantata for alto. It is a simple composition without chorus, but the work is an imposing one divided into two parts. The first is a masterpiece that has been performed relatively often. This is also a piece for the "Feast of the Annunciation," and has an overall calm and limpid atmosphere. Here, the Japanese tenor Ryo Sakurada provides a glorious voice. Naxos Japan
