Description:

Alcatraz, with new member Doogie White replacing Graham Bonnette, is back with its fifth album, which is the band's most energetic to date! Alcatraz was formed by former NEW ENGLAND members Jimmy Waldo (Key) and Gary Shay (B), joined by Graham Bonnet, a former member of RAINBOW who left the Michael Schenker Group. The debut album featured Yngvay Malmsteen, and the second album featured Steve Vai. However, after the super guitarist left, the third album in 1986 did not sell at all, and the band stopped its activities. There were some disputes about the band's name, but in 2019, more than 30 years later, the Graham Bonnet Band suddenly changed its name to Alcatraz, and the band officially reunited for a concert in Japan (with Jimmy Waldo and Joe Stump also in the band). The band's fourth album "Born To Innocent" was released, featuring the three original members Jimmy, Gary, and Graham, with Joe, a direct descendant of Yngwie, on guitar, and delighted fans with a style of metal that was almost as beautiful as the band's debut album. Alcatraz seemed to be sailing smoothly, but Graham left the band the following year and decided to resume their activities under the new name Alcatraz ft. Graham Bonnet. In this album, "V," Doogie White (ex.RAINBOW, MSG, Yngwie, etc.) joins the original Alcatraz, which is the remaining form of the band. The addition of Dugie is an important factor in taking the band to even greater heights. The key guitarist Joe Stump's neoclassical, melodic, and aggressive playing is also a key part of the music. Keyboardist Jimmy Waldo, who also produced the album, said, "I'm very happy with the album. It's a rare album where the musical direction and what we originally wanted to do were in perfect alignment. This song was selected from over 20 songs and is filled with the most positive energy ever! says the band's CEO, Nigel Glockler. The album features Nigel Glockler (SAXON / dr), Cliff Evans (TANK / b), Donnie Van Stavern (RIOT / b), and many other legends from the same era! Japanese version includes a bonus track! Liner: Includes the latest interviews with the band members with lyrics and translations.
