DONOTS was formed in 1993 in Ibbenbühren, Germany, and since its debut in 1996 with "PEDIGEE PUNK", the band's popularity has gradually expanded, driven by the pop-punk/melo-core movement sparked by bands like GREEN DAY. In 2001, they released "POCKET ROCK" and in 2002, "AMPLIFY THE GOOD TIMES", which marked their full-fledged breakthrough. The band's creed is punk rock based on familiar melodies, but they have continued to evolve and build their status by incorporating a wide range of influences, including metal/hard rock, ska, dance music, folk, new wave, and more. The band members are very pro-Japanese, and since their first visit to Japan in 2002, they have consistently visited Japan, and are very popular here in Japan. 2010's "THE LONG WAY HOME" and 2012's "WAKE THE DOG" saw a shift in style to a more grandiose scale, and the new album "KARACHO" is a more modern take on the same theme. With the new album "KARACHO," however, the band has returned to punk rock. With "KARACHO," the band has returned to punk rock, bringing back the inevitable singalong melodies and edgy sounds that have already been hailed as the band's greatest work to date.At first, this album was released only with lyrics in German and was hardly distributed in Japan, making it very difficult to obtain. However, a re-recorded version with English lyrics was released under the new title "CARAJO! GrindHouse will release the Japanese version of the song as a Tower Records exclusive!
