After more than half a century of his career, David Crosby has continued to look at society, explore music, and deliver his message, but his creative drive has not waned one bit, and for the past few years he has continued to release albums at a pace of one every one to two years. The self-titled debut studio album by CPR, a unit consisting of David Crosby, session guitarist Jeff Peever, and Crosby's son, keyboardist James Raymond, is being reissued. Jeff Peever met when he opened for Crosby, Stills & Nash while a member of Mark Cohn's band in 1992. And then there was James Raymond, Crosby's own son who had been separated from him and whom Crosby was able to meet after receiving a liver transplant. The trio project formed by these two and Crosby is CPR.In 1997, the trio toured for the first time as a trio, and in January 1998, they released a live album, Live at Cuesta College. The trio then entered Jackson Browne's Groovemasters studio in Santa Monica to record their self-titled debut studio album. (1/2)
