The debut album by the German-born keyboardist, who also played in the bands of Bill Evans (saxophone) and Wolfgang Haffner, is a mellow and hard-driving crossover music! Produced by Joachim Becker and Ricky Peterson, the young keyboardist has joined Bill Evans' new group "Bill Evans & The Spykillers" and also plays in the band of Wolfgang Haffner, a veteran drummer from Germany, Born in Aachen, Germany in 1998, Zimon Oslender began playing drums at the age of two and was fascinated by the B3 organ a few years later, He took classical piano lessons at the age of 8, but by then he was already playing blues piano, organ, and playing in several local bands. In 2018, he visited Japan with Wolfgang Haffner's band.This is a very serious crossover music work, with legendary Joachim Becker as producer, as well as Ricky Peterson, in order to make Zimon's talent known to the world! Wolfgang Hafner and Bill Evans are featured, as well as Randy Brecker. However, Zimon's consistent musicality/sense is appealing not only on the songs that feature these big names, but also on those that do not. The world of fusion/crossover music has continued since the 70's, with catchy compositions and arrangements. The refreshing and mellow opening track dedicated to Chuck Loeb, which reminds one of the American West Coast, and the funk beat groove of George Duke, which is dedicated to George Duke, alone show a sense that captures the core of the compositions of artists of the past. The covers featured at the same time are also exquisite. In addition to "Fragile," a well-known song sung by Sting, the soul standard "Feel Like Makin' Love" also features a catchy and mellow piano solo. The album features a total of 10 songs until the last song, which is a solo piano piece.A memorable work by a gem who can play both piano, Rhodes, and B3!
