Ersan and Mugne, two composers of different generationsPhilippe Ersan and Benoit Mugne, two composers of different generations but who have been close friends for 25 years, will present a collection of their works. ≪Songs of Isolation was written in 2014 as part of a World War I memorial service. It was inspired by a poem by Trakl. It was commissioned by the Opera National de Bordeaux and the Orchestre Poitou-Charentes, dedicated to Trio Vandalar and premiered by them. Trio Carrenine is responsible for the Paris premiere of this work. Benoit Menet's "Dark Streets" takes its title from the work of Russian writer Ivan Bunin, who was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1933. The piano trio is at the core of the composition, and a diverse world unfolds. King International
