The Flower Kings

Description:

Scandinavian progressive rock legends The Flower Kings celebrate their 30th anniversary with their latest release, "Love" (analog). Scandinavian progressive rock legends, The Flower Kings, celebrate their 30th anniversary with their 17th studio album, "Love". The Flower Kings were formed by the members of Leone Stolt's 1994 solo album "Flower King," and since their official debut as a band in 1995 with "Back in the World of Adventures," they have released a total of 17 studio albums, 16 albums, and a live album. 16 studio albums, numerous live albums, and performances at festivals and on countless tours, their musical legacy in the progressive rock revival is unparalleled. They remain titans of melodic progressive rock, full of creativity and vitality, cementing their position as the champions their band name suggested 30 years ago. This album is the first with this five-member lineup, which includes the three original members, Reune Stolt, Hasse Freberg, and Michael Stolt; Mirko DeMaio, who joined the band when it relaunched in 2019; and Lare Larsson, guest keyboardist on the previous album, who became an official member. This is the first album with this five-member lineup, and the 17th studio album in total. The use of vintage analog instruments and equipment, which has been Reunay's focus for the past few albums, gives the album a warm, deep sound, and it breaks away from the norm of pursuing hit singles and embodies the essence of late 60s and early 70s progressive rock, when creativity was more acceptable, including the use of bell bottoms, mellotron, mogues, phasers and flangers, and grandiose compositions. The album embodies the essence of progressive rock from the late 60's to the early 70's, when creativity was becoming more acceptable, with a vintage feel and a rich blend of influences ranging from classical and jazz to electronic music and movie soundtracks, It is a rich blend of influences ranging from vintage, classical and jazz to electronic music and film soundtracks. At 75 minutes in length, the album ranges from epic 12-minute compositions to short 3-minute masterpieces, and you will hear many of The Flower Kings' more experimental sides and wild guitar and synth solos reminiscent of their earlier albums. The strongest members ever assembled have come together to create a masterpiece brimming with power.
