Satanic speed metal band from Portland, OR: BEWITCHER's blazing return with their fifth album, "Spell Shock".
Formed in 2013 by M. Von BEWITCHER and A. Magus, the duo BEWITCHER took the underground world by storm when they spewed out a massive demo tape filled with blasphemous, raw speed metal. Later adding drummer A. Hunter, the band became a trio and released Bewitcher (2016), Under The Witching Cross (2019), and their Century Media Records debut, Cursed Be Thy Kingdom (2021 ). For nearly a decade, they have been echoing the underground scene with their sound, which seems to manifest darkness from MOTORHEAD and VENOM, along with Cavalera, Municipal Waste, Creeping Death, and others.For this album, "Spell Shock," the band has recruited as producer Lars Frederiksen, guitarist/vocalist/songwriter of metal punk progenitors Rancid. The band rocked out with (4) "Out Against the Law" and sang liturgically on (7) "We Die In Dust," sounding as if they were evoking chaos with hell on their backs.
