Description:

The fascination of romantic string ensembles as portrayed by the renowned Lucerne Festival String Orchestra led by the brilliant Daniel Dodds The Lucerne Festival String Ensemble was organized in 1956 by Rudolf Baumgartner and violinist Wolfgang Schneiderhan as an ensemble for the Lucerne Music Festival, and since 2012 has played a role in the postwar Baroque boom as a renowned Baroque music performance, Since 2012, Daniel Dodds, who was praised by Natine Mirshtein as "like Paganini's grandson," has been the concertmaster and music director of the orchestra, and in terms of recording, Midori Goto chose the orchestra as her partner for recording Beethoven's Violin Concerto in 2020, attracting worldwide attention. The album concludes with a lively "Scherzo" by Austrian composer Franz Schreker, whose dance-like dynamics and vibrant melodies are reminiscent of Dvořák.
