The sequel to the much-talked-about 2013 release of a collection of unknown overtures by British and Irish composers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, this time also features world premiere recordings. This release also includes the world premiere recording of York Bowen's "Fantasy Overture," as well as a wealth of fascinating overtures by Walton, Coates, Smythe, Mackenzie, Parry, and others, all of which are unique to Chandos!
