A collection of saxophone quartet works including Glazunov's original works by the American armchair group Project Fusion! Project Fusion is an American saxophone quartet. Each member is also active as a soloist, but as an ensemble they have won top prizes in numerous competitions in the United States. Saxophone works by classical composers began to flourish from the end of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century, and Glazunov's quartet is one of the masterpieces. The lyrical melody in the style of a folk song, typical of Glazunov, is very attractive. Bozza's Andante and Scherzo, which has many masterpieces in his wind works, is a lovely little piece that shows the influence of Debussy. Maslanka's "Book of Readings" by Maslanka, who just passed away last year, is a meditative music based on melodies from Gregorian chant and Renaissance religious songs. Tobu Land System
