Erich Wolfgang Korngold (1897-1957) and Arnold Schoenberg (1874-1951), two composers who emigrated to the United States to escape the rise of the Nazis. The Raphael Ensemble, led by renowned violinist Anthony Marwood, will teach us about the "string sextets" of the European era of Korngold and Schoenberg, who later became Hollywood's greatest composers and masters of the 12-tone technique, and the great talent of these two great composers.
