This medium-sized theater seats 750 and features excellent acoustics. ◆The Flaschini Theater, with over 250 years of history, was built on the initiative of four Pavia nobles and opened in 1773. Originally named the “Theater of the Four Knights,” it was renamed the “Flaschini Theater” in 1869 when the City of Pavia took over ownership, in honor of the Pavia-born tenor Gaetano Flaschini. ◆Pavia is a town with a long history: a Roman Catholic diocese was established there in the 5th century, the twin cathedrals were completed by the 7th century (reconstruction into the current cathedral began in the 15th century), and the coronation of King Berengar I of Italy took place there in the 9th century. 【Product Specifications】 ◆Packaging: Digipak. ◆Booklet: German and English. 16 pages.
