World premiere recording of the orchestral version of the concerto by Paganini Carrache, the 'Paganini of the mandolin world'! The new recording by Julien Martineau, the prince of the mandolin and a nobleman! The concerto is not only remarkable for the fact that it is performed with the Concerto Italiano conducted by Alessandrini, but also for the fact that Martineau's friend Jan Ollivo has arranged an orchestral version of the concerto by Carrache, the "Paganini of the mandolin world", making this disc a must-see for mandolin fans! This is a must have disc for mandolin fans! The mandolin has the same tuning as the violin and is actually closer to the violin than to the guitar in terms of the possibilities of polyphony. Carrache, who has been described as the Paganini or Sarasate of the mandolin world, treats the mandolin as if it were a violin, and writes superbly crafted works that sometimes require the player to play three or four strings at the same time. Julien Martineau's favorite violinist is Natan Mirshtein, and the unique beauty of the mandolin sound he plays may also be derived from Mirshtein.The orchestrated version of Carrache's Concerto No. 2, which has only ever been performed with piano accompaniment, has now been created from the piano score, and may become an "aranjuez" of the mandolin.
