This is the second recording of Telemann's orchestral works by Capriccio, a new period instrument orchestra from Switzerland. Capriccio is a period instrument orchestra from Basel, Switzerland, formed in 1999. This album is the follow-up to Madge: Six Concertos (TUDOR 7173). Concertmaster Dominique Kiefer is the musical director of the orchestra, which is very active. This is a performance that brings out the softness of the French style, rather than the stodgy German style of Telemann. Tobu Land System
