In addition to the complete works for solo piano by Luigi Dallapiccola (1904-1975), a 20th century Italian genius who loved lyricism, Romance languages, and the classics such as Dante, Monteverdi, and Verdi, and who was thoroughly anti-fascist despite the danger to his life under the Mussolini regime at the time, this is a rare collection of his works for solo piano. In addition to the complete works for solo piano by Luigi Dallapiccola (1904-1975), this is a valuable collection of his solo cello works and chamber music works including vocal works.
