Reach for It, the new 2019 album from Peter Galway, the New York bard who has crossed over from Fifth Avenue Band and Ohio Knox. "I'm looking for a good friend," he sings naively in "One Good Friend," and what came to mind was the Canadian singer/songwriter David Blue's 1972 Asylum release of the timeless classic "Stories," the first track on the album, " Looking For A Friend". David's singing is a bit deep and Peter's is simple, but the theme is the search for the same wonderful friend. One of the eternal themes for human beings is "a good friend," so it is nice to hear it in the new album.
