Beautiful chamber music collection by Gaubert accompanied by flute! This is a collection of chamber music by Gaubert, a composer who studied flute with Taffanel at the Paris Conservatory. Most of his works were written for flute, and this album contains his major chamber works with flute except for the Flute Sonata. The majority of the pieces are small pieces of about five minutes in length, but each piece has a different aspect to it. Norwen Valzin, who is currently the solo flutist of the Winterthur Musikkollegium, will bring you a richly expressive performance of Gaubert's world. King International
