Description:
A duo live performance by Liornel Rueke (guitar, vocals), who was selected for the Blue Note All-Stars, and Israeli-born Ziv Ravitz (drums), who was called "a painter of music" by his mentor Herbie Hancock. Lior Ruecke is a guitarist and vocalist, and Ziv Ravitz (drums) is from Israel. Lionel Rueke hails from mid-western Africa. He has been selected for the Blue Note All-Stars and is a member of the current Herbie Hancock Group, and has been called one of the greatest jazz guitarists of our time. Ziv Ravitz was born in 1976 and already began performing professionally at the age of 13. After gaining experience in clubs in Tel Aviv, he moved to the United States to study jazz at Berklee. He has performed with such stars as Avishai Cohen, Shai Maestro, and Yaron Helman, all from his native Israel. This album was recorded live at a club in the Swiss village of Muri on December 12, 2021.The drummer's seat was placed at eye level, a few meters away from the guitarist's chair, so that the two could see each other during the performance, and the sound was spun by A-Un's breathing.
