This is the second volume of the project that has attracted much attention in Italy and other countries! Edvard Grieg is one of the major composers in the classical music repertoire. And while Grieg's works transcend the boundaries of the classical music repertoire and have gained worldwide popularity, on the other hand, his works are not frequently performed and heard on the concert scene. This album features Grieg's works for four hands for four hands for four hands for four hands, and reintroduces the beauty and depth of his works. Symphonic Dances were originally written for four hands and later orchestrated. These pieces very effectively showcase the diversity of Grieg's compositional techniques and his skill and ability to transfer or imagine orchestral color to the piano. Andrea Micucci and Francesco Di Marco both studied with the renowned Italian pianist Roberto Plano. The duo's project for this four-hand duet began as a way to explore and promote the excellence of Grieg's compositional process from a duet perspective.Their first album (C00439), released in July 2017, was reviewed in the renowned Italian music magazine Classic Voice and attracted the attention of music critics. The duo continues to perform concerts in Italy and elsewhere, while also working to promote classical music by giving music lectures at many high schools in an effort to introduce the music to the younger generation.
