Arranged by the composer himself for one piano quartet! The first volume of Brahms' complete symphonies for "4 hands"! Johannes Brahms (1833-1897) arranged many of his symphonies, orchestral works, piano concertos, and chamber music for "4 hands for 1 piano". The Italian piano duo has started recording the "Complete Symphonies" in the "4 hands for 1 piano" version, focusing on the arrangements for "4 hands for 1 piano" left by Johannes Brahms. Italian pianists Corrado Greco and Massimiliano Baggio have chosen "Symphony No. 1" and "Overture to the University Celebration" for the first recording of the complete works. The two works are recorded together in their entirety, with the voices clearly audible thanks to the "one piano, four hands" format, and the nuances and details that are essential for a complete understanding of these two works are brought to life. Massimiliano Baggio studied with Sergio Fiorentino after graduating with top honors from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan. After forming a piano duo with Cristina Frosini and becoming the first performer in Italy to perform all of Schubert's four-handed works, he has been teaching at his alma mater since 2006 and is one of the most important pianists, serving as vice president since 2016. He frequently comes here to Japan for master classes.Corrado Greco, who will form a duo with Baggio, studied piano with Alberto Mozzati and Bruno Canino in Milan, and has performed with renowned soloists such as Giovanni Sollima, Massimo Quarta, and Tatiana Vassilieva.
