North Of A Miracle (Miracle Of The Wind), Nick Hayward's first solo album released in 1983 after leaving Haircut 100, has been remastered from the original stereo tapes, as well as a 12" mix, instrumental versions, a single B-side song that was not included on the album, and a single song that was not included on the album. The album was released on the Edsel / Demon label in a deluxe edition of three CDs in a 7-inch package, featuring the latest remastering of the original stereo tapes, 12-inch mixes, instrumental versions, and the singles "Love All Day" and "Warning Sign," which were released the following year in 1984 and not on the album, among others. Produced by master musician Jeff Emerick, who has worked with The Beatles, Elvis Costello, Badfinger, America, Supertramp, and many others, "North Of A Miracle" includes "Take That Situation," "Whistle Down The Wind," "Blue Hat For A Blue Day," and "On A Sunday. The album sold over 100,000 copies in the UK and won a Gold Disc Award. CD1 of the deluxe edition of this release contains the original album remastered from the original stereo tapes, CD2 contains various 12-inch mixes, instrumental versions, and B-sides of singles not included on the album, as well as CD3 entitled "Recordings CD3, entitled "1984," includes the 1984 singles "Love All Day" and "Warning Sign" and their accompanying 12-inch singles. Also included are three previously unreleased songs: "Teach Till You Reach," "Give Love More Time" (an instrumental version of "Love All Day"), and "Kiss Those Tears Goodbye" (an unfinished recording with backing vocals only).
