The title of this work, "Transfiguration," is taken from Sven-Erik Beck's "The Transfiguration of the Lord. Written in twelve-tone technique and based on a passage from the Gospel of Matthew that tells of the transfiguration of Jesus, it is a work for the Uppsala University Choir and American Richard Tensing. Will Todd wrote the lyrics and composed "I Have Changed" as a Christmas carol. Sven-David Sandström's "Lord, Hear My Prayer," which begins with Purcell's eight-part motet, has been sung by choirs in many countries as a sympathetic song of "our time. Lund Vocal Ensemble commissioned Jacob Mühlrad to perform "Dream," which premiered in 2017. Cecilia McDuol's "O Rising Sun," in which the sun rising on the horizon turns darkness into light. Joosta Newström, whose "Three Seas of Illusions" has created works such as "Symphony of the Sea" and "Soul and Landscape. He is also called the "composer of the sea" because he sees the sea as a reflection of the "battle of the human soul" and its "solace and rest. Although his choral works are few, "Three Sea Fantasies" is considered one of his masterpieces. Recorded September 23-25 & October 7-9, 2022 at Aesleve Church (Aesleve, Sweden) (Tokyo M-Plus)
