Christian Lindberg (Christian Lindberg) has recorded Bernstein's masterpieces to celebrate the 100th anniversary of his birth in 2018. Trombone god Lindberg has been focusing on conducting in recent years, and his October 2017 visit to Japan with the Arctic Philharmonic Orchestra was a big hit. Lindberg has also demonstrated his talent as a conductor in his recordings of Alain Pétesson's symphonies and Tchaikovsky's late symphonies, which he has continued to release on the BIS label, and is highly regarded for his clean and extremely straightforward performances. Bernstein's works are a good match for Lindberg's musicality, especially the crispness of the brass and the flamboyance of the orchestration. The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra's superb ensemble playing also left a good impression.A fitting release for the Bernstein Year! King International
