This recording focuses on British composers and includes works by Vaughan Williams, Rebecca Clarke, and Britten. Nisbet has performed as soloist with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra. Nisbet has also been active in chamber music, performing with world renowned musicians such as Martin Frest, Leif Ove Ansnes, Akiko Suwanai, Daniel Hope, and Alexander Melnikov, and has appeared at the Verbier Music Festival and other festivals in Europe. Nisbet himself is also featured on this disc. This disc includes a viola arrangement by Nisbet himself.In a selection unique to Nisbet, who makes the viola sing with eloquence and eloquent delivery, the orchestra will arrange five songs from Vaughan Williams' "Songs of Travel" and perform the songs with care and passion.
