The popular cellist Florian Berner's Bach "Suites for Solo Cello" has been completed! In 2021, Bach's Unaccompanied Cello Suites Nos. 1-3 were released on the Austrian VMS label, finally giving Japan a chance to experience this wonderful talent. In early 2023, the recording of the remaining three pieces, which had been long awaited for release, will finally be realized and released as a complete set with the recordings of Nos. 1-3 on the Perfect Noise label in Germany. The recording of Nos. 1-3 took place in September 2020, in a small church near a friend's house in Tuscany, where the Covid-19 pandemic had caused the loss of concerts and rehearsals, and the inability to communicate directly with people via instruments was a source of loneliness and pain. It was recorded in a small church.More than two years later, in January 2023, Bernhardt, with the experience in Tuscany still fresh in his mind, wanted to record the remaining three songs to complete the album. The recording was done in Keten, Germany, where this album was born, with the help of the Perfect Noise label. Florian Berner was born in 1973. After studying with Angelica May and the Alban Berg String Quartet at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, he also studied in Italy with world-renowned string quartet virtuoso Mario Brunello. The quartet has continued to grow in stature and stature as one of the most exciting string quartets of its generation. As a soloist, he was a regular guest with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra conducted by Claudio Abbado and Daniel Harding from 2007 to 2013, guest solo cellist with the Niederösterreich Orchestra in 2007/08, and has appeared at various music festivals and on TV Tokyo's He has also appeared at various music festivals and produced a documentary on Beethoven's cello sonatas for TV Tokyo.
