The Alan Parsons Project's third album from 1978, "Pyramid," is being reissued in a 4CD+BLU-RAY+2LP deluxe box with 2024 remastering and tons of previously unreleased material. A concept album about the pyramids of Giza, it features a stellar lineup of vocalists including Colin Blunstone of the Zombies, David Payton of the Pilots, Lenny Zakatek, John Miles, Dean Ford, and many others.In addition to the main body of 2024's latest remastered material, 4CD with 67 songs (54 previously unreleased) taken from studio session outtakes and Eric Woolfson's songwriting diaries, with the first Dolby Atmos mix of an Alan Parsons project, Blu-ray audio featuring a 5.1 surround sound mix by Alan Parsons from the original multitrack master tapes and a new stereo remaster by Miles Showell, and a half-speed remaster by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios. The box set includes 2LPs of 45rpm 180 gram weight vinyl remastered at half speed by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios!
