Amsterdam-based four-piece jazz/hip-hop band RADIOHOP has completed their new album. Their second album, *HARDTOHANDLE*, marks their debut release on MeltingPotMusic. RADIOHOP is a four-piece jazz/hip-hop band from Amsterdam that explores the boundaries of groove, texture, and improvisation. *HARDTOHANDLE* is their second album and their first release on MeltingPotMusic. As the title suggests, RADIOHOP is actively pursuing their musical journey. The band consists of four members: Joshua Lutz (Key), Euan Jenkins (Dr), Johnny Biner (G), and Joel Svedberg (B). They moved to Amsterdam around 2020 to study jazz and quickly immersed themselves in the city’s vibrant scene. Rather than focusing on egos or individual spotlight moments, all band members prioritize emotion and atmosphere, playing equal roles in shaping the music as a single organic entity. Their songs emerge from experimentation, intuitive collaboration, and deep listening—an approach deeply rooted not only in their jazz roots but also in their backgrounds as improvisers and beatmakers. RADIOHOP has served as the rhythm section for artists such as SoulSupreme and JujuRogers. Beat enthusiasts may already be familiar with Halfpastseven, Joshua’s solo project featuring collaborations with FloFilz and JakeMilliner.
